About Dr. Moldovan

Dr. Moldovan joined our practice in 2006. She specializes in periodontics and dental implants. A 2001 graduate from the Ohio State School of Dentistry, she did her postgraduate studies in Periodontics at UCLA while also completing a Master of Science in Oral Biology. 

Dr. Moldovan is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontology and a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She is also a lecturer at the UCLA School of Dentistry where she teaches dentists about the advancements in dental implants. She stays fully up-to-date on all the latest research and technology in her field, notably the exciting use of laser techniques and stem cell bone grafting.

In short, she is on the leading edge, including her extensive training in Integrative Medicine and Nutrition. There is much new evidence to show that the problems of the oral cavity are linked to the rest of the body.
